Patient Education & Awareness

Educating our children,  young adults and family members about Type 1 diabetes and raising awareness about Type 1 diabetes is pivotal in managing their ultimate health and well-being. The patient education and awareness group will highlight a wide range of issues in Type 1 diabetes care relevant to the patient and family members. Among our commitments include disseminating quality and informative educational materials and organising patient oriented events such as diabetes camp, patient leader training and various targeted workshops. Our hope is that we will be able to increase the awareness of Type 1 diabetes among our Malaysian population through creative and innovative online platform, social media and mass media promotion.
